Download Multi Effect Fixes & Improvements This plugin aims to keep the same functionality of having a randomise device before a MIDI or audio effect rack, which was the standard way of doing it in the older versions of Ableton. Wormhole is dependent on Steinberg's VSTSDK, which is not open-source. In order to build the binaries you'll need the VSTSDK 2.4 as well as some additional files. Audio plugin for Windows (VST) - Transmits 32 Bit audio over TCP/IP. One 44 kHz Mono Channel requires 175 kByte/sec. Works with any Audio Units/VST host such as Logic, Cubase SX. Download Ableton. Pro-grade production software for musicians, bands, and producers. SoNevable's made the Max for Live Plugin 'Wormhole' but his website is dead. Input & output grated out on ableton. THIS IS MULTI EFFECT
This one does exactly what it says on the tin. It allows you to have multiple Audio clips and MIDI clips all on the same button, cycled through to the next clip with each click of a button. This performance method called “multi-sampling has been around for years but has always had the annoyance of stock Ableton Live’s awful “Random” device in charge of it. Multi Effect allows you to reset the cycle in the middle of a performance if you want to try a section again, along with macro control to avoid having to pitch samples just to enable multi-sampling.
The simple resettable device for cycling through multiple MIDI clips and audio clips
Fixes & Improvements
This plugin aims to keep the same functionality of having a randomise device before a MIDI or audio effect rack, which was the standard way of doing it in the older versions of Ableton. With an intuitive way of setting the cycle length anywhere between 1 and 127, and a simple button to reset the cycle, it makes it the obvious choice for multi-sampling and multi-lighting.
Setup
This plugin is very simple to setup. It does require you to have Max For Live installed, which is automatically installed if you have Live 10 Suite or Trial. It can be reset using my other device “Project Control” by pressing any of the buttons on your Launchpad.
This device features a new trigger mode that allows you to cycle multi-samples and multi-lights when both pressed and also released.
MIDI mode allows you to cycle between files by selecting them in the key zone editor in the chain selector, but has the disadvantage of needing to have notes pitched down if you’re using audio files
Macro mode allows you to cycle between files by selecting them in the chain selector via mapping it to macro 1 of an instrument rack or MIDI Effect rack. This gets around the fact where audio files needed to be pitched down and instead treat the files like they’re in “sub-pages”, cycling through the files with the macro rather than changing the MIDI note.

Max for Live puts the vast creative potential of the Max development environment directly inside of Live. It powers a range of instruments and effects. And for those who want to go further, it lets you customize devices, create your own from scratch, and explore another world of devices produced by the Max for Live community.
Create and customize
Max for Live is a platform to build your own instruments and effects, tools for live performance and visuals, and much more. You can open up any of Live’s Max devices, see how they’re built, and change them to meet your needs. You can build your own from scratch using the same components. And you can even use Max to change the way Live works, including the properties of tracks, clips and scenes.
Extend Live
Max for Live can completely change how Live interacts with all things external. Reconfigure connections to hardware controllers & synthesizers. Route audio to multiple sets of speakers from your Live project. Use Live to control physical objects like motors and lights using Arduino, OSC and other technologies—there are infinite possibilities for connection and control between Live and the world surrounding it.
There’s a constantly growing collection of instruments, effects and tools. From curious tinkerers to professional designers, Max for Live’s worldwide community makes high-performance effects, customised hacks and everything in between. You can share your own, or just enjoy using the work of others.
In addition to the devices built by the Max for Live community, you’ll also find Max for Live devices in Live built by us. These devices are available right in the Live 11 Browser together with Live’s native Instruments and Effects. Included in the list are LFO, MIDI Monitor, the Drum Synth collection among many others.
What is Max?
For more than 20 years, Max has been an essential platform for artists and creatives who want to explore the limits of what’s possible with music, visuals and technology.
